Do all the Michael Kelly's have the large frets. I've played my teacher's and really like the playing ease with the fatter frets. I'm looking at a pretty good deal on an A-Plus online but can't find specs that answer this question.
Edit: Also what about the Kentucky's. I'm considering them too.

Most mandolins come with small "mandolin" frets.
Most of my customers prefer "Banjo" frets because they are a bit wider. (And because Chris Thile prefers them.)
IN actuality they are Dunlop 147. THey do make slides easier.
I checked the MK website and they did not state fret size.
Woodman, I am with you; I would want to know.
Maybe give them, or a dealer, a call?

Thanks to both of you for the info.
I was jonesing for one so bad I just couldn't wait any longer. 
I pulled the trigger this afternoon on a MK Legacy Deluxe so I'll know for sure about Friday when it gets here. I decided that, like mandoteacher I was ready to assume they were the same, then the guy I placed the order with at folkmusician.com confirmed it. Done deal!

All the Michael Kelly mandolins have the larger medium gauge fret wire, with the exception of the Festival model and the A-Solid. These have standard "small" mando wire.

How where the frets? I bought a Legacy O in 2006 and the fret work was a little sloppy. Had to slot the nut deeper and refit the bridge. Other than that it's a very good mandolin and well constructed. Lots of volume and good tone especially after I put on GHS silk and steel strings. My preference for deeper tone.
This one was made in Korea. Another post said they thought they were made in China. Did they move there assembly to China? I got a good one, hope you did too!
