FYI: I just purchased one of these cases. It is super nice except for the fact my Mandolin will not fit into the cavity. The cavity is too small. So be aware if your thinking about getting one of these. You will want to see for yourself if your mandolin fits or not.
As a side note, instead of returning the item I decided to disassemble the inserts and alter it to fit. We'll see how that goes.

Yes, someone interested in these cases should probably do a little research.
From what I've read, the first run cases have had some problems. Fit, cheap latches that fail, top lid not closing properly...

Well I just finished putting that case back together. It took me about two hours to make it useable. Maybe they will get better over time.

wait the new ones are on the way,& that is as per Robert at folkmusican,com & John at banjo.com,John toll me they will be ready the second quarter of this year.
