(Joe Walsh on mandolin)

Joe Walsh is an incredible mandolin picker. He also has the distinction of being the very first graduate of the Berklee College of Music in mandolin. He used to live here in town, and was a very present "force" in jam sessions all around town. You couldn't want to meet a nicer guy.

Here's a pic of him playing his LaPlant mandolin. (Made by Lloyd Laplant / Grand Rapids, Mn.).

I'm a big Joe Walsh fan. "Farm of Yesterday" is great, but without Joe's contribution I'm not sure it would have become as popular as it did.
