Hello Everyone -
Please join us for another performing bluegrass class. This class regularly attracts 25-35 musicians of banjo, mandolin, fiddle, guitar and bass. This 8 week class begins this Wednesday January 5, 2011 in Jupiter, Florida.
(All Skill levels from Beginner II and up) This class will focus on playing acoustic instrumentals in groups. The instructor will demonstrate how to perform with other musicians with an emphasis toward playing bluegrass and blues. The instructor will utilize a guitar, banjo and mandolin in explaining music theory, back-up, rhythm, and lead techniques. Students will learn how to play in various keys. Students will be divided in small groups depending on their experience. Students with the following instruments are encouraged to register for this class: guitar, banjo, mandolin, fiddle/violin, and acoustic bass. Each student should have some basic understanding of chord structure for their particular instrument. (Please arrange with teacher for additional recommended course materials. Student is responsible for basic supplies).

How often do you have these classes? I can't make it in the first half of this year - but later in the year I might be really interested.
