Love this instrument too, that bitting sound that grabs my attention every time I hear it. Although I've played one a long time, it's only lately that I'm seriously working at it because of the Gospel Bluegrass band I'm playing in. I have taught a few students over the years, but need to work at it myself. Since I've divided my time between instruments, I can get by on each, but my hat is always off to the expert who works this instrument to the max. So I'm looking forward to learning anything mandolin, and who knows, I love writing tab so I'll add a few here and there to add to the collection. I teach guitar, piano, banjo, and some mando in the evenings and I love sharing music and information.
