Since I joined yesterday I have posted one video and 20 mp3's. Hope you like it. The mp3's are for the most part recorded over the last 6 years or so, since I started playing my instruments again after a break that took about 25 years. Most of them are made on a pocket size digital four track recorder, and I play all instruments and sing all voices. The mandolin is the main instrument on most of them. It is very much homemade, so don't expect studio quality sounds here, but I have enjoyed myself doing them. My main instrument is the guitar, and I have also taken up the banjo again, and are seriously working on learning to play in the old Thumb-Lead two finger picking style.

Born in Odense, Denmark 1951. Work as a cartoonist/illustrator. You can see some of my work on my website http://www.jesperdeleuran.dk/English%20index.html. Sorry most of the text is in danish, but the pictures can be understood everywhere I guess. The startpage can be seen in english too though. I began getting piano lessons, when I was 8. Got a guitar when I was 13, played and sang in a band playing mainly Beatles and Stones tunes, but when the folk revival form the US hit Europe, I began singing folksongs. When I was in my twenties I picked up the five-string banjo, the mandolin and the violin (I consider myself more of a fiddle OWNER than a fiddler. I never became very good on the violin, but as long as you're not dead, you hope to continue to learn). Later I have picked up the autoharp, and recently I bought a mountain dulcimer.
