Live in Boteourt County Va. Born and raised, never got too far from this beautiful part of Virginia. Music has been at my core all my life. See live music often. Never took the time, or couldnt sit still long enough to learn to play music. Last year a dear dear friend, after a courageous battle with cancer left me his mandolin with encouragement and expectations of me playing it. David passed on Dec 17, 2023. Since that day, i can count on one hand the days i have not picked up a mandolin. I use to say i didnt have the gene to play music. I still dont, but i have the desire, hopefully the work ethic to find that gene at 63 years of age, with David helping me along the way. Truly, the best friend ever, he continues to give to me every day.
