Japanese-made Kentucky KM-600 A-style, circa 1984. SN: 84753. All solid woods. Carved Spruce top, carved maple back and sides. 2-piece back. White binding on top, back, neck and headstock. MOP inlays on headstock and fingerboard. Rosewood bridge, and fingerboard looks like rosewood. Original hardware. OHSC.
This VGC mandolin has recently been gone over by my luthier. He glued a slight separation of the 2-piece back, near the endpin, and gave it a good setup. It has nice low action and plays like butter, producing plenty of loud woody sound that you'd expect from a 30+ year-old instrument. I believe this is a Sumi-era Japanese-made Kentucky.
