New to the Mando Hangout. Thought I'd share my first mandolin build. It is a semi-hollow electric mandolin made from pallet wood. I recently built an electric banjo from pallets and after completing it my wife requested a mandolin. So, here it is. I did use a rosewood peghead overlay and a small bit of walnut on the neck. The rest is wood recycled from pallets, mostly red or white oak I believe. I'm not much of a mandolin player but I was pleased with how it turned out.

Is that a lipstick p/u I see? I am presently contemplating rigging one up on my acoustic F. This p/u seems to be the thinnest bar type available.
