The recent post about the weight of an F5 mandolin reminded me of this video about lightweight guitars ("Old Martins" etc). Franklin Guitars are very special and very lightweight. Lloyd Loar mandolins are lighter than average too.

It’s been awhile since I’ve posted here. I’m still concentrating on recording using the tools I’ve been blessed with— mandolin family instruments, guitar (bass as well at this point plus both instruments are tuned in fifths) and saxophone.
