It doesn't quite have the traditional mando sound, since it's built more like a guitar (flat top, not carved, etc). More sustain than a traditional mandolin.

Very easy to play--Tacomas have a bolt-on neck system that makes adjustments easy.

Yeah, looks great. Beautiful curly maple back, sides, and neck. And it smells great!

Reliability


The finish on it started to separate from the body in a few places. I don't know if this is Tacoma's fault, or if it has something to do with how I stored it. Everything else on it seems great, though.
